Request a CD or digital copy from the imaging center where your scan was performed. Most facilities provide this at no charge. You can also check if your patient portal offers DICOM downloads. The files typically come as a folder of .dcm files or a ZIP archive.
Your files never leave your browser. All parsing and rendering happens client-side using JavaScript. We cannot see, access, or store your medical images. When you close the tab or clear data, your files are gone.
Yes. The viewer is fully responsive and works on mobile browsers. For the best experience with large MRI datasets, we recommend a desktop or tablet with more memory.
Currently we support JPEG Lossless, Explicit VR, and Implicit VR transfer syntaxes. JPEG 2000 and RLE Lossless support is coming soon. Most MRI and X-ray DICOM files use supported syntaxes.
